Net Zero & Carbon Reduction
We recognise the urgent need to address climate change and fully supports the NHS's ambition to achieve net zero emissions. We are committed to playing our part in creating a sustainable future for the health service and the wider community.
In alignment with the NHS's "Delivering a ‘Net Zero’ National Health Service" plan and the requirements outlined in the "Carbon Reduction Plan requirements for the procurement of NHS goods, services and works”, we have committed to reaching Net Zero by 2040 and are members of the SME Climate Hub.
Despite being a small business, we recognise our legal and moral obligation to reduce our carbon footprint and are in the process of undertaking a carbon baselining exercise to identify areas for improvement going forward.
Our carbon reduction plan includes (but is not limited to):
Remote / hybrid working wherever possible, reducing travel for in-person meetings
Encouraging the use of sustainable transport - including public transport and travel by electric vehicle where possible
Limiting printing
Choosing sustainable suppliers wherever possible
